__GetDataByKey

Introduction

Returns the value of a specific data- attribute of an Element.

Syntax

__GetDataByKey(element: Element, key: string) : any;

Parameters

Key Description
element Any Element object.
key data- key, a case-sensitive string.

Return Value

Returns the data- value corresponding to the data- key of the current Element, which can be of any type.

Example

The frontend framework can retrieve the value of a data- attribute of an Element as follows.

let element = __CreateElement('view', 0, {});
__SetDataset(element, { key: 'value' });

let dataset = __GetDataByKey(element, 'key');
